"The Wayne Robinson Principles of Community 5K run/walk and one-mile run/walk, sponsored by the Office for Equity and Inclusion and the Montgomery County, Floyd County, and Radford City Branch of the NAACP, are scheduled to take place on campus, Friday, Sept. 5 [2008].
Check-in for the run/walk will begin at 4:45 p.m. near the Duck Pond on West Campus Drive. The 5K walk will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by the 5K run at 5:30 p.m. The one-mile walk will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the one mile run at 6:15 p.m."
