Kati Derrick, president of the Roanoke Valley Triathlon Club and local area triathlon coach, heads to Louisville, Kentucky on August 31, 2008 to race the Louisville Ironman--for the second time.
Kati completed her first Ironman in August, 2007. In her Reflections Upon Completing an Ironman, Kati wrote, "I found a new confidence and inner light on August 26th – one that I plan on keeping forever."
Virtual spectators can track her race on IronmanLIVE on the race date. Her bib number is 1341.
On the Roanoke Valley Triathlon Club's listserv, Kati wrote, "Every time I cross a timing mat I think about folks back home cheering for me and watching me online, so again, your support is priceless to me!!"
