Triathlon Is Big!

I'm writing this at 7:27 PM on Thursday, January 10 after having clicked the refresh button over and over again to track the sign-up rate for the Reston Sprint Triathlon.

With a cap of 450 participants, with registration open at 7:00 PM, at 7:06 PM, 182 people had signed up.

By 7:16 PM, 41 spots remained.

At 7:25 PM, the race closed with 460 people listed.

My heart started racing as I watched the count climb. I felt as if I were watching a stock ticker after an IPO. Whew! I wished I had stock in that company...

With the New River Valley Triathlon still over a year away, everyone owns stock. All you have to do is Get Started. Good luck!
